SIZE AND FUNCTIONALITY OF SITE

The B.F. Young administrative building is on 2.5 acres. Computer, curriculum, and support services, among other departments, are housed at this site. The building was first opened in 1954 and had additions in 1970 and 1993. The total square footage is 48,430.

INFRASTRUCTURE (ON-SITE AND OFF-SITE)

The site has front strip parking and a large rear area parking lot. They were not filled the day of the evaluation, but at times, users must park on the east and west side streets. There is no additional area available to develop for parking. Site landscaping is generally in good condition despite showing the effects of drought. (SFPS FMP Update 2003)
