The Capitol Buildings Planning Commission
(CBPC) is an intergovernmental agency that studies and plans for the long-range facility needs of the State of New Mexico. The CBPC has developed a series of comprehensive reports and maps to assist in its analysis process.
This site provides information about the facilities that New Mexico owns, leases, and maintains under lease-purchase agreements for use by the Executive, Judicial and Legislative branches of state government. The State of New Mexico Inventory of Facilities and Properties 2024 updates the previous inventories with recent information gathered to reflect changes to Owned and Leased facility data. Updates to the data are ongoing and represent the most current information gathered.
New to the Statewide Inventory for 2024 is an initial inventory of the facility holdings for New Mexico’s institutions of Higher Education. The Higher Education inventory is based on reported information from the institutions to the New Mexico Higher Education Department (HED), augmented by additional research and inquiries to individual institutions. As with the state government inventory, the Higher Education facility data represents the most current information gathered, and will be updated as additional data becomes available.
